感想：
在《Yellow》的吉他刷絃和電吉他強烈的旋律線中，我跟全世界很多人一樣，記住了那個憂鬱、情感內斂的歌聲。然後是《The Scientist》，一開始簡單的鋼琴和絃，馬上讓人陷落在情感浪潮裡，那是無以名狀的情感，直到歌詞唱出來，短短幾個字所組成的句子，承載的是滿滿的悲傷和懊悔，很快的就可以把聽歌的人給淹没。
這就是Coldplay抒情歌曲厲害的地方：寫歌如同寫詩一般，一字一句很精簡，平淡的用語，沒有什麼故事情節，但是配上乾淨、濃妝艷抺恰如其分的音樂，卻可以深深的打動人心。
Coldplay的這個特色，我覺得在這一首Til Kingdom Come中，揮灑的淋漓盡致。

老實說，歌詞所描述的，是一個完全架空的世界。在那個世界，沒有特定的人、事、物，我無法確定它到底在講什麼、在講誰的故事。可是，我依然深深的著迷，在那幾個文字段落的世界裡面。
第一次聽這首歌，是在電影院裡的《蜘蛛人：驚奇再起》。一個突然擁有超能力的大學生，溜著滑板，越蕩越高，享受速度與玩弄地心引地的快感。當那躁動的吉他刷弦聲響起，我驚奇地發現，這樣的一部超人動作電影中，也可以聽到Coldplay的歌聲，而且看著電影院大螢幕的畫面，是可以美的讓所有的觀眾屏息。

究竟在等待誰：等待力大無窮的人？等待現身救贖的人？
